Eggnog Smoothie

Eggnog Smoothie

It’s hard not to gain weight during the Holidays. All that candy at Halloween, food galore during Thanksgiving, and then there’s Christmas with all the chocolate candies, Christmas cookies, cakes and pies, and the eggnog.

I love eggnog! I can’t wait until Thanksgiving because that’s when it starts showing up in the stores.

But if you’re like me, you’re wondering, “how am I supposed to maintain my weight during the Holidays?”

I say this as I’m trying to put on my jeans.

My answer to you is this creamy Eggnog Smoothie. All the flavors of eggnog, but much easier on your waistline.

For this smoothie, I use Silk’s Eggnog for the eggnog flavor and cashew milk for its creaminess.

For the sweetness, I add two bananas. You won’t be finding any sugar, honey, agave nectar, or maple syrup in this smoothie. Leave that for the Christmas cookies.

I also like to add in a couple teaspoons of fiber. I find that an easy way to take in my fiber, by adding it to my smoothies or smoothie bowls. Of course, you won’t find fiber in the list of ingredients because its a personal option of mine, but feel free to if you like.

The best thing about this smoothie, you can make it the night before and it will taste better and become even creamier in the morning because the ingredients have a chance to mingle.

So let’s raise our glasses of Eggnog Smoothies to help us all get through this Holiday season without overindulging.

Cheers!
