Kefir Peanut Butter & Banana Dog Treats

Just like people, dogs can get too many bacteria in their GI tracts.

Although a dog’s stomach can tolerate a lot more than a humans, GI bacteria can be thrown off by something like antibiotics.

Sometimes the cause of excessive bacteria is not known.

Some signs that your pooch’s intestinal tract is not functioning properly include loose stools, diarrhea, vomiting, weight loss, and weakness.

If your pooch is experiencing any of these symptoms, please take him to your vet so he can be properly diagnosed and treated. These dog treats are not a treatment for GI issues.

Let me clarify for you, I am not a medical specialist with animals. I just love my pooches and I created this recipe for Kefir Peanut Butter & Banana Dog Treats to help regulate the bacteria in my pups tummies along with a daily supplemental probiotic.

I like to think of them as a preventative measure to help with my pups gut health.

At the same time, they can also be used as treats for your dog.

It’s a win-win for you and your pooch!

By the way, if you don’t have any silicone molds, you can also use ice cube trays.
